We’ve seen a big spike in bicycle deaths in 2023 causing it to be the nr 1 cause of death in traffic. The Fat-bike is a big problem here. Its trendy among kids and realy easy to disable speed limiters. Percentage wise I couldn’t find anything this fast but it does look like people in cars just don’t see them or pay attention to them as the drive faster. I think cameras checking the surroundings is the best hope in getting those numbers down.
