Sorry, I think I’m lacking context here. What is the problem with system76? A cursory search for problems with system76 tells me there are some Nvidia driver problems, but that’s surely not unique, right?

I don’t have experience with their hardware but I’ve been dailying pop os for about five years and have generally had no problems.

Uff the first time getting drunk with my Korean friend I didn’t realize how strong the stuff is before I finished the bottle. She then took me to a Korean club where I was basically the only one who didn’t know the specific dances to the songs. Good thing soju makes it easier not to care 🙃

I would so love to switch when it is fully released, as it seems like a smoother better version of the workflow I have now with the current pop gnome shell, but I have never been able to top ~40fps in Wayland and there’s no support for x of course. Maybe when I upgrade my hardware :)

I’m still hoping for a fork sometime in the future, but I guess we’ll see. For now I’m back on fennec. I wish the developer all the best of course, I just wish there had been a bit more warning :/

I didn’t even know interactive wallpapers were a thing, that sounds so cool! I’m the kind of boring person who keeps almost every default unless it bothers me, even the wallpaper 😅

Nice! It seems like the cables are justified. I also ended up on default 12.04 with unity after a half year or so because kde at the time had too many quirky for me. I’ve honestly been wanting to give it another go since plasma 5 came out, but haven’t gotten around to it.
