More seriously though, there’s a microphone button for the search box, which uses the Google Speech service on my phone. It doesn’t seem like it does a lot with speech though.

I imagine it would be quite difficult to tie knots with frozen limbs and fingers, in the dark. And trying to get a second person on the door would have required the already freezing girl to dip into the water. I can see why they wouldn’t try it.
Are these decay rates specified for isolated atoms?
I believe they would decay faster when bombarded by particles from fellow atoms, no? So we’d have to account for the mass, shape and density of the samples to get true rates. I don’t think that would change the rankings, but it might increase Simon’s troubles if the radon was frozen or otherwise really compressed, for example.
Poor octopuses. They’re not a real danger to humans so we shouldn’t find them creepy or repulsive. Unfortunately for them, they look like a crossover between two things we evolved to stay away from: spiders and snakes.
