Meaning there were two commercial aircraft crashes in the first 2 months of the year.
Yeah, that’s what it looks like to me.
I’m pretty sure this is supposed to be the three girls from Amphibia

Much more likely to electrify busses than roll out new rail based transit.
It’s been called the first “English Kanji” as a joke.
I could be wrong, but I think she said he should be rewarded for brining the milkshake home, but his “loss” cause she’s on her period.
Edit: looking at others reactions they seem to think that she is saying she had a miscarriage, but based on their reactions in the comic I don’t think that’s right. I think she’s using the “loss Kanji” for the word loss.
jacksilver@lemmy.worldtoData is Beautiful@lemmy.world•Stack Overflow Website TrafficEnglish15·6 months agoThis has been a concern of mine for a long time. People act like docs and code bases are enough, but it’s obvious when looking up something niche that it isn’t. These models need a lot of input data, and we’re effectively killing the source(s) of new data.
Sorry I missed that in the code block. I tried to dive a bit deeper, but it looks like there are different ways to build a python env in NixOS and the issues you’re running into could depend on your build process.
Found this documentation, but it’s a bit dense for me given my lack of experience with NixOS.
Best of luck though!
Not 100% sure becuase I don’t know you’re full environment, but tkinter sometimes requires an additional OS level install. I know Ubuntu requires something like “sudo apt install python3.10-tk”.
Not familiar with NixOS, but saw somethings mentioning “nix-env -i python3-tkinter”, but no idea if that’s a real command.
Look up reinforcement learning, it’s the branch or ML/AI that Alphazero was based on. Video games are actually a main focus area for that kind of research.
As for beating Baba is You, I’m not sure. OpenAI did make an AI that could beat people in Dota - https://openai.com/research/openai-five/
Discworld would be a good example of fantasy that doesn’t follow this trope (pretty sure in that world anyone can study magic, but like everything else that doesn’t mean everyone is good at it).
jacksilver@lemmy.worldto Manga@lemmy.ml•New to manga. I've finished Death Note, Berserk, Assassination Classroom, and Attack on Titan. What should I read next?2·11 months agoOh I wasn’t aware it was an original series. While it’s definitely not a smart assumption, i generally just assume any popular anime was a magna first.
jacksilver@lemmy.worldto Manga@lemmy.ml•New to manga. I've finished Death Note, Berserk, Assassination Classroom, and Attack on Titan. What should I read next?41·11 months agoIf you baseline is “How will our protag overcome this” then the classic is probably “Dragonball”, but basically any Shonen Jump series fits that bill (Bleach, Naruto, One Piece). However most of these are targeting younger audiences, with Bleach being the most “mature” of the ones I mentioned.
If you like the mystery element of Death Note, then Pyscho Pass could be an interesting one to look at.
Lastly, if you want a comedy inverse of “how will the protag overcome this”, One Punch Man is a great series. The author One also did a series Mob Pyscho that’s an action comedy.
Note: some of these I’ve read, while others I only watched the anime
Yeah I also feel like the original one does a better job getting the same general point across
While he doesn’t get a lot of attention, PlasticMan is considered to be pretty dangerous in DC comics. He has a pretty cool run in the Injustice Comics (released alongside the games) .
jacksilver@lemmy.worldto Anime@lemmy.ml•Netflix's My Hero Academia Live-Action Adaptation Confirmed To Have Started ProductionEnglish3·1 year agoNot the person you asked, but I watched it, then went back to watch the anime again, and it just feels so much better. While I think they did a good job of adapting it, I think some things just work better when animated. All of the crazy moves and characters just don’t translate well to live action.
I feel like it’ll be the same if not worse for mha. There are a lot of stylistic choices that I just don’t think will carry over well (I mean look what marvel had to do to all the superhero costumes to make them feel more “right”)
If you aren’t anti Disney it’s a really good movie, I think somewhat underrated.
