I don’t think the ideia is to bodyshame people, but to point out that Everyone has gender dysphoria (yt)

Happened to me in just a couple semesters of uni. Here the grading system is numeric, the max is 10 and you need a 6 to pass.
First semester I’d finished most classes with 9 or above. This semester I’ve gotten 3.4 on econ 101.

21·8 months agoLook at the time, where have you bean?
I have! In Brazil we have a project called Tamar which is a sea animal shelter + zoo with loads of teaching guides.
I’ve gone with my dad several times when I was a kid. One time we touched a stingray (very slimy) and a Nurse shark. Here they are called Sleepy shark / Sandpaper shark because their skin is very course and they sleep a lot. We also got to watch some turtles crack their eggs and get to sea, it was lovely (and kinda boring, they are slow).
And the yuri too
I’m gonna sell “peanutless” peanut butter (with peanuts) to allergic people and see how it goes

Map Enthusiasts@sopuli.xyz•Map of the US if 50 states were formed by equal population and split by parallel longitude.
3·1 year agoThey are talking about how some states are bigger than others while having a smaller population. The width, in this case, means just the area of land which a state would have to be to have a population count equal to all other states.
here’s the article

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK some cities in the US are starting to build an affordable community built wifi network that goes around big telecom companies
2·1 year agothat makes sense
but in this case, the bank, or whatever good site, would probably not even allow non-TLS connections
and if the mesh necessitates TLS only on an exit node*. Then yeah, that’s a stupid and flawed network. And it also wouldn’t be transparent (in the sense of using just like a normal ISP)
*I’m not sure how it connects to the rest of the internet, but assuming there are exit nodes that connect to other networks

1·1 year agoWhy would you not use TLS to connect to sites on a mesh network?
Yeah that makes sense
Although for something where the time matters (like ordering food or warning someone) I still prefer calls
But that’s just me
Why would that be the case, though?

Usually regex by it self is shown with
/delimiter. Using it on code is language-specific. On rust you normally user#"<regex>"#, on javascript you can just/<regex>/, but that’s just the language’s definition, not regex.
