The doctor and Serena didn’t get much screen time but I feel like Aqua and Ruby are distinct characters just with similar traits. So seeing Ruby be wilfully ignorant despite being shown to be very smart when she applies herself, I feel like it’s almost… forced? I can’t explain it exactly but it gives me a really bad vibe, like I’m underestimating the shitstorm that’s about to happen.
