I really struggle to imagine how that comes up at a bakery of all places. Like how does the conversation even goes there? And what are the “jokes”? I can maybe picture making a remark like “oh you’re American? Moved here to escape mass shootings?” or something but even that is so out of place at the bakery, I’m just there to pick up bread, the most I’d chat about even in France where we love to chat is like the weather or whatever, no way I’m gonna start talking about deeper topics or the baker’s life story and stuff.

Well well well, now the monkey comes out of the sleeve.
That one and “mouth to mouth” 👌
Yep. But that specific brand which is particularly douchy/does a lot of marketing etc. They’re also way stronger than what we have in Europe.
I think I’m rather gonna guess you’re not American. It’s a brand of e-cig that was only sold there afaik, they were kind of first to mass-market with a small, non-hobby device.
All my clothes were 3 sizes too big back then and I lost quite a bit of weight recently so chances are, I’d fit.
I thought that was the source.
Omg I’m in the market for a 3D printer right now (my first), I’ve been researching for nearly a month and I still find new brands daily, it’s insane.

4·3 months agoYep a lot of the countryside outside of touristic hotspots are kinda dead in France. You can see that they used to support a much more vibrant community but now it’s just shut down stores and closed shutters with the occasional remaining locals or implants that were looking for cheap properties. And as others have said replacement by bus lines that are better suited to the low usage.
