that’s what happens when you outsource space exploration to a for-profit company that will cut corners by cutting costs, instead of keeping the design and manufacture of rockets to the highly qualified scientific organizations who have always been at the very forefront of exploration and discovery. these people do not care about making good rockets, they care about making cheap rockets that will win them juicy government contracts.

If liking the Falcon 9 means I can’t dislike the chief con-artist of SpaceX (really just xAI+Twitter+Tesla in a trench-coat these days), then I don’t know what to tell you.
I will never personally pay a single cent for starlink, and the unregulated race to kessler syndrome is unacceptable. But the same way Elon didn’t draw this piece of fanart, neither did he build the Falcon 9.
