Coffee is disgusting. It tastes like woody burnt dirt water. Even after diluting it with a fuckton of creamer and sugar to the point you can hardly call it “coffee” anymore, it’s still barely tolerable at best.
Tea is… ok… I guess. I can drink it if I have to, it doesn’t taste particularly bad per se, but it’s not exactly the most delicious thing I’ve ever had either. It doesn’t really give me a reason to drink it.
This is what I originally thought too, until I had a coworker showed me that as long as you have “good beans”, even drinking an espresso can be great.
Coffee isn’t for everyone, and neither is tea. My partner hates most teas except 1 type, and even then it has to have a sugar or two.
Fast forward 5 years, I only drink espressos.
With age comes a changing of your taste buds. There is a reason why that “green stuff” tastes bad as a child, and then you are devouring it when you are an adult 😄
