The Cat In The Hat (2003) with Mike Myers; it basically made it to where they would never make a live action Dr. Seuss movie again.
The thing is, I think it is more for the adults who grew up with the book, and not kids. That being said, while the movie is awful, there is a lot of adult humor, which made watching it with my nephew fun!
