There were quite a few complaints on !fediverse@lemmy.world about !linux@lemmy.ml not having any real alternative (https://reddthat.com/post/20166234), so let’s see if we can revive the programming.dev one.

You can migrate if you choose to, but it’s really fine. People are over exaggerating the issue, it’s mostly about Lemmy.ml communities and not users
I feel for you. People said “just join any instance” and now people like you have everything set up on the CCP’s Fediverse propaganda hub.
