Listening to this broke my heart for dude; and frankly? Enlightened me to a bit of my own chauvinism lately. This whole time, I took the general silence about the Azovs and their assorted, lesser-publicized nazi buddies as straight up complicity, but they were really getting their shit fucked up pretty much the entire time to get this kind of silence; and god don’t even get me started on how hard Zelenskyy betrayed his supporters. The repeated emphasis on ‘we just wanted peace’ is a rusty screw in my brain rn.
Yeah, it’s a pretty depressing interview. He does a really good job laying out how US destroyed Ukraine after the coup. I didn’t realize the sheer amount of hands on involvement US had in all that.
