Wasn’t it a point made earlier that people from the south had to have a first class mage with them to cross into the north? Is that something I’m misremembering? Did Sein need a mage with him or did he sneak through by other means?
Either way, good to see that he’s still a character, and what a great chapter.
I was just wondering this as well. Maybe he is such a charmer that he was able to talk his way past some guards? Or, could it be that the restriction was lifted after Macht was dealt with? Frieren and gang did go the long way because she didn’t know that the fancy new road had been built.
