Enough with This Slow Life! I Was Reincarnated as a High Elf and Now I’m Bored: Volume 3 : As always the speed with which the story is progressing is dizzying. Still managed to make me care enough about a character to have me tear up when they passed away. Great volume and still gets a bonus point for its uniqueness. - 8/10 long lifespans.
Ascendance of a Bookworm: Part 5 Avatar of a Goddess Volume 6: A masterpiece as always. A seemingly slow volume with one of the most heartwarming chapters in the entire series. Also, something shocking in the bonus chapter happens that certainly will make the next volume a turbulent one indeed. - 10/10 community mascotts.
The Invincible Little Lady: Volume 2: Every now and then I forget why I drop a series and then unknowingly pick up another volume just to be reminded again why I dropped it in the first place. In this one, it’s another case of an annoyingly dense protagonist. What’s especially annoying is that MC’s denseness is so inconsistent. Sometimes MC is self-aware and/or insightful and other times she suddenly is dumb as a brick when it helps the story along. I also hate how it’s repeating its one-trick-pony joke again and again in the hopes that it at some point might become funny (it doesn’t). - 3/10
Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, Vol. 19: I missed this series and hope I don’t have to wait for almost another year for the next volume. Get your shit together Yen Press! - 8/10 comfy guilty pleasures.
