The plot is an inverse of population density: rural areas have more exposure to cows, cities do not.

So like, there ARE people who unironically argue that the city is still Constantinople and belongs to the Greeks.
They’re just far more widely recognized as morons while transphobes are more socially accepted.
This is insurance manifest!
Eh, kinda. The largest uranium reserves in the world are in Australia, and the highest grade uranium deposits are in Canada. The western US has large reserves that don’t require international trade (though they’re mostly in federally protected land so it would take a lot of government action to actually start mining it).
That said, Kazakhstan does the most uranium mining at the moment by a wide margin and they’re not exactly a shining example of democracy. They’re responsible for 25% of US uranium imports.
That buckler, however, is not being held correctly. You hold it as far out in front of you as possible with a stiff arm. You don’t sweep blows away like in dark souls.
The root of the thing is that Islamic teachings require practitioners to dress modestly.
Interpretations of this range from “cover your sex bits” to “don’t show an inch of skin to anybody except your husband”.

8·1 year agoCoastlines are indeed fractals, and a similar argument could be made for any border defined by natural phenomena (so like, not the long straight US/Canada border).
Is here a joke here? All I see is truth.
It’s not that an individual pig will revert to a wild hog, but the genes we selected for in domesticated pigs are so recessive, that it only takes about 3 generations to get from domesticated to wild hog. And considering their gestational period is around 4 months, and it only takes about 6 months for them to be fully grown… 3 generations can happen pretty quickly.

But US paper sizes don’t tile nearly as well as metric paper sizes do, is the point
Commercial printers will print most everything on A0 paper, but since all metric paper is doubling or halving sizes with respect to each other, they can tile a bunch of print jobs into the same A0 paper and then cut them apart, saving machine time by turning a bunch of small jobs into one big job.
“I was just caught up in the moment supporting my friends” vs “I am an active and participating member of the queer community”
I mean, this is a recurring thing in the US, it’s not just this one specific article.
