Do I look like I know what a OneDrive is?
This movie is less about being mad at Nazis and more of making you look deep inside yourself and ask if you wouldn’t have done something similar. It’s more about watching regular people live their lives and they just happen to be Nazis who are heavily involved in the Holocaust. A particular scene I think about a lot involves a board room where people are talking about seemingly normal business activities like funding and logistics. Except they’re actually talking about how to build Auschwitz… but it seems eerily similar to any normal business meeting you might imagine today. That’s what makes this movie so good and so different from most other Holocaust movies. Highly recommend.
Have you seen the movie Zone of Interest? That scene got me. Actually every scene got me. It’s just a hauntingly good movie.
Jewel Osco or Safeway sugar?
Now this is a top tier meme!
Why are 2 of the options purple? There are so many colors to pick from!!!
Same as it ever was
We had this VHS we watched as a kid called “How Come?” And I don’t even really remember what it was about. But I think it was educational? The only thing I could find about it online was this ebay posting of the VHS: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/hMEAAOSwNsVfWTMT/s-l400.jpg
I didn’t like beer either up until I tried something I genuinely liked. All through my teenage years and college, the only thing I had was either what my parents liked or whatever cheap shit people drink in college. After my friends and I all got jobs, we started hanging out after work at a local bar that had a massive menu of craft beers. We would all get flights and try lots of stuff. Turns out, I don’t like a good majority of beers and I’m a very picky beer drinker. I only like stouts, porters, ciders, and sours which are less available than say an IPA. So maybe keep trying stuff? You might find you like something very niche or you’ll find you just don’t like beer 🤷. I’m more into mixology now anyways so maybe that’s your thing?
90% of my job is making finalist presentations for our sales department. The amount of times I receive the power point they put together and half the text is bold… I always think of that scene from The Incredibles. When everything is in bold… nothing is.
