I have no idea where my old game devices would be in my childhood home, but I’ll remind my ma to be careful if she comes across them since she refuses to throw any of my old stuff away (I’m out of state now).
Ars Technica comment sections do not disappoint
The relentless equine whimsy cannot be contained.

Broadfern@lemmy.worldto 196@lemmy.blahaj.zone•Americans kinda don't like pickpocketing ruleEnglish31·11 days agoI think the biggest factor here is the immediate and tangible aspect of this type of theft.
Wage theft and systemic things are larger and conceptual until it hits, and more often than not because it’s so vague and not “just one person” it doesn’t evoke the same visceral response in a lot of people.
Not sure how we can start reframing to do so but getting on these conversations is a good idea for sure.
Amazing how this is a genuinely lovely thing if you’re not a POS 😄
I myself have trouble telling the difference between white folks, like English and Irish, or like Hitler and a cat.
Lmao

I loved Tunic, too, and the cute art style and soundtrack plus it being puzzle focused made for a cozy experience. The accessibility options were a huge plus for me.
I also loved ToTK! It’s definitely different in mechanics than the original. I also played it day 1, though. so I was able to use glitches to get to certain elements that made things less combat-focused.
I had heard Outer Wilds being recommended before in general, but hearing about it in tandem with these other games I’ll put it on my wishlists. Thank you again!
Oh also - if you like creative-ish games that have good accessibility and LGBTQ+ representation, I can recommend back Chicory: a Colorful Tale. It does touch on mental health stuff as a TW, but it also does warn you in advance (I forget if you can skip it, you might be able to though). I loved it and cried a couple times.
Fit to be on the cover of GQ (genderqueer) 😎
