I agree with the sentiment, but my experience of capitalism is that it would not cause reduction in resource exploitation. The reduced cost because of lower demand would just make it profitable to some other industry instead, who would use up the supply.
In some cases, you can even have the government intervene, like subsidizing production to avoid loss of jobs.
It’s really a grab all you can world out there :(
Kate OMG you’re in the news!!!
I would have sworn that was a fake image! Thank you for the link
What? The bro ain’t a fussy eater.
You’re dead wrong, friend.
“Bluey” is a children’s show that features a young Blue Heeler Pup named, Well Bluey exactly. She was the show’s main protagonist and is 6 years old. She can get kind off mischievous and adventures, and she lived in Brisbane, Australia with her sister “Bingo” who is 4 years old and just like Bluey, she can be so mischievous and she has an orange colour on her skin and had her own episode in Season 2. Then we have Bandit (Bluey’s Father), who was voiced by David McCormack.
He is sometimes funny but dominant towards his kids. And lastly we have Chilli (Bluey’s Mother), who is voiced by Melanie Zanetti. She cares so much about her kids and sometimes hangs out with Bandit.
The show aired on the 1st October 2018 and has gained more episodes to this day.
One day in November 2019, I decided to go to the ABC Shop in Macquarie Shopping Centre with my mother. We were gonna buy our first Bluey DVD and we were gonna watch it in our bed. I called my Cousin and told her that we got a Bluey DVD. She was so delighted and told me that she loved that show so much. When we got home we started watching the full season.
We started off with The Magic Xylophone (The very first episode of the show). We watched it all night long until we arrived at Season 2. I got excited and texted my Cousin saying that we were finally at the second season of Bluey, and she was very excited too. She said that the last episode was called “Sleepytime”. I was so overjoyed and so was my mother.
As we reached the last episode, the intro looks normal. I exited the episode and checked to see if we missed one episode - and we did.
The title reads “Grief and Loss”.
“What?” I thought to myself. “I thought the episode was called Sleepytime!” said my mother. “Yes, I know.” I said. “But I think we missed one??”, said my mother. We continued watching the episode. It started with The Heeler’s House at day time as some birds flew passed, We then cut to Bluey crying in the living room while playing with her toys. “What the?” I said with total confusion. Bandit comes in and asks if she was feeling good. “No” said Bluey, "I’m not. “Why did Bingo have to leave us so soon?”
Me and my mother were shocked and confused. “Wait, Bingo left?” I thought. “That sounds so sad!” said my mother. Bandit hugs Bluey. “I know Bluey, It pains us so much” He said. “But at least she is in heaven”. Me and my mother were horrified. Bingo died? We never expected Bingo to die! “Chili, please” says Bandit. “Don’t start grieving!” “I’m not grieving?” Chili stuttered. “I loved her so much” “Us too” Says Bluey and Bandit. A flashback shows The Heeler family in the hospital with Bingo. She was all pale as if she had cancer. “Bingo! I love you so much!” Said Bluey. and Bingo replies weakly: “I love you too, Bluey”. Then, she stopped breathing. Bluey and her parents started sobbing softly.
The flashback ended, and the next scene showed Bluey sleeping in her bed with tears in her eyes. She opened her eyes and looked at Bingo’s bed. Then she sighs softly, and goes back to sleep. It then fades to Bluey’s dream where she is seen sleeping until the roof of the house opened, she then looked at the roof, revealing a light blue sky with lots of clouds with Bingo’s ghost waving at Bluey while smiling happily. That was the last scene of the episode. The credits rolled with Bingo’s ghost waving at us from before while smiling happily against a light blue sky with lots of clouds.
My mother and I were deeply emotional and even we started crying. The next day, I looked up the Bluey episode, Grief and Loss on Google, but nothing came on. Meanwhile, My Mother phoned up David McCormack and asked him if someone have created the episode, Grief and Loss. However he said that they wouldn’t dare kill off one of the main characters on their show. Then I called my Cousin and told her about the episode. She got concerned and assumed that might have been just a prank but I told her it wasn’t. Me and my mother were deeply concerned about this episode. I had nightmares about that episode.
I could not stop thinking about it to this day, and it will probably never ever EVER end.
I fully agree with this comment, and yet I feel personally attacked.
What a sick burn, could have used it on Steven Hawking too.
Oh w…
Not being used to F at all, it seems to me that C has at least least some very notable landmarks - 0 frozen, 100 boiling. I have zero landmarks for F
