Half of the content I see on here is about reddit, and they’re also some of the most active posts. I feel like anyone looking for an alternative to reddit might take one look around and conclude we don’t have much to offer besides bashing reddit.
There had been a daily reddit megathread showing up on my front page, and I thought that was a good middle ground.
Got addicted to Farmville. Should have known right then that it wasn’t going to work.
I’m probably only half joking. I love when people just do weird shit for the hell of it, it reminds me of the early internet. People doodling horrific Garfield content is weirdly wholesome and just makes me happy.
Hoping they don’t come with a deluge of OnlyFans spam. Reddit had some good niche NSFW subs, but they got watered down with generic content. The same stuff gets posted to every sub, with a mad libbed title to fit the kink. Their profiles are just a hundred of the same picture, titled Would you _____ a ______ or Am I too ____ for ____?
I think the worst offender was a ginger who made it to the top of HotArabGirls or something.
I don’t mind good jokes, but Reddit has standard “inside jokes” that are posted to almost every thread. That and the endless quotes from television shows. I like Arrested Development too, but god damn can we just have a conversation without asking how much one banana costs?

Eldritch horror Garfield is essential to any online community.
I’ve never had a fancy car, so it’s the jank stuff I remember fondly on my old vehicles. Having to start the truck by jumping the solenoid with a pair of pliers, that time Reverse just didn’t work for a month so I had to really think through my parking situations, when it insisted on starting in Drive no matter what so I had to keep a brick in front of the tire and then pull it out and jump in real fast.
Anybody can get in a functional vehicle and drive; I like having to learn and overcome the weird stuff. It’s like taming a horse, it’s a bonding experience.
Now that I’m an adult though, I am quite fond of heated seats.
