I don’t use e(x)hentai because the quality of the doujins are much lower when viewing it through the app. Are you experiencing something similar on your end? I compared two same doujins in the app: one from exhentai and the other from nHentai and the latter looks a lot better.

OG artist doesn’t know you can say “porn” on the fediverse without being shadowbanned.

I think it’s for comedic purposes. You don’t get banned for saying “porn” on Twitter or Pixiv, the two platforms the artist posts on.

I do have a concern with !anime@lemmy.ml, though. That community is moderated by a subreddit hoarder on Reddit (u/N3DSdude). You might not want to promote a community ran by a subreddit hoarder who doesn’t give a shit about their community.
