Nah, not even, I’d rather live like I do now than live like my ancestors did in the early 1800s, dirt poor, addicted to alcohol, barefoot, no chance of social mobility, and worst of all, without air conditioning. Although to be fair its not like the Appalachians have changed all that much apart from the air conditioning.
It’s one of the best shows of the season by far. I was reading the manga before the anime was even announced.

People who didn’t like the first season’s pacing probably have had their attention spans whittled down to nothing. I loved the first season. Iwanaga is such a great protagonist and I loved the themes explored in her battles against the main antagonist and in her attempts to solve the other cases.
