I get that. Maybe “most” is overstating it for humans as well. But I think you are forgetting choking the thing out. Saying its 10 feet long is misleading. There’s a lot of tail and average size is not 300lbs. That’s max. Average is like 150.

I feel like you and the meme are over estimating komodo dragons. It would probably maim you and infections could definitely kill you after but I feel like most adult humans, if in a life or death struggle, would come out on top.

Your belief in the organization legitimizes dangerous and corrosive beliefs. It legitimizes the power structure that oppresses. It legitimizes the act of turning off your brain. Your adherence to its rules legitimizes even it’s more rabid and extreme flanks.

You cannot participate in organized religion without harming society.

Spiritualism is fine (generally) but it can still lead to delusional thinking. As in, verifiably false conclusions.

If you can look around at the results of allowing religions to dominate society for thousands of years and tell me that you think it’s going well, or even that we have a good chance of surviving the century as a species, then I don’t think you are a fully functioning human being.

I don’t know what the objective truth of the world is. But what I do know, is that that truth has never been ordained to earthly man by a burning fucking bush or whatever the fuck your particular religion dictates.

Arguing over interpretations of the hallucinations had by uneducated people thousands of years ago is not just pointless, it promotes a level of ignorance worship that is highly corrosive to a functioning society.

I don’t hate Jews specifically, but fuck every single religious person. I am done with it. How many time do we need to see genocides or wars or just bombings that are solely motivated through religious indoctrination? You may say that they are misinterpreting the words of the Lord or whatever horseshit, but as far as I am concerned every interpretation is exactly as valid as the next because it is all make believe nonsense.

THE PANOPTICON

The main hang ups I see, is the group that determines what counts as loss and how much loss each thing has. These would be the points of attack where the powerful would seek to undermine trust/effectivity/accuracy and manipulate this new system for themselves. There would need to be rigorous safeguards in place to prevent such perversions.

That said, I like the planned economy aspect but I also feel like it could be used quite well with a smaller scale, more anarchistic society of loosely interconnected groups.

He WAS human. Then he chose to abandon it. He could choose to recover it, but it would be hard to convince anyone of your moral changes.

Any human could do what he did and abandon humanity, but no human could do the things he did and remain human.
