No on both. I wouldn’t mind it though as long as i can turn it off.

Sounds more like you are tired of poorly trained dogs and their incompetent owners. Unfortunatly there are many of the latter.
The Fediverse isn’t Reddit and was never meant to be Reddit, and can’t be Reddit.
And i’m glad about that. After a couple of days I feel more at home here than I’ve ever felt on Reddit.
I’m not against local oriented communities, but the hub and spoke model looks like centralisation with extra steps to me. I prefer decentralisation.
I thought so too, but my subscription feed and access from here (https://beehaw.org/c/adhd@lemmy.world) shows nothing newer than 20h. There’s only one younger post, so it might have other reasons why it doesn’t show.
I ended up subscribing to magazines from kbin today, too. Still a lot to discover. lemmy.dbzer0.com has a lot of interesting stuff as well.
Great summary!
I’m new here, so i hadn’t much time to engage there. One thing i was happy to find was a ADHD community on lemmy.world, it’s a bit of a bummer that i can’t access it from here. I think it’s the largest one. Found another one on kbin though and ADHD memes is really cool.
I’ve seen a lot of toxic crap upvoted on reddit. Personally i prefer moderation over public vote any day.
It should be easy to find fitting pots or reuse cans and stuff without a 3d printer. I’d be a bit concerned though about the roots growing into the water. Some might start to rot.
