I can’t confront my biases unless I know about them. Thus, asking questions is an important part of self discovery. Thanks for you’re reply.

That hasn’t been my experience. As soon as I start talking about the meaning of life the universe and everything. Their eyes glaze over and they go dance with a construction worker instead.

That has been one of my thoughts as well. If I try to gain as much knowledge as I can and share it with others then it might prove beneficial to those in the future. So in one way the knowledge I have acquired lives on.

I wonder why the flies are on strike. Also our view of animals and how we think of their worth might depend on how we define intelligence. If we think that a cow is an intelligent being then we might think that it’s wrong to kill it and eat it. If we think that a cockroach has no intelligence then there’s no reason not to kill it. If we believe that all life on the planet has intelligence or what you might consider a soul or a spark of life whatever you want to call it then you might be a verse to killing anything. I’m not sure where you draw the line.

I have decided not to read that article. So much for that theory.
