I find myself temporarily kind of sort of not really homeless. I bought five acres of land, with an agreement on file that the county would open the barrier upon purchase. Here I am 5 months later still struggling to even get them to answer my calls much less open my barrier. So while I have land, and an RV, I have nowhere to put it.

The majority of RV parks have no availability for long-term stay, even if they did they cost pretty much the same if not more than renting an apartment which is stupid. And most places are insanely hostile towards RVs staying anywhere else. I’ve been lucky in that I happen to be near a rest stop that is both usually not busy and absolutely huge. I’ve been sneaking under the radar staying here longer than I should occasionally hanging out at a wallmart or something during business hours to avoid being noticed.

But this is getting harder and harder as most public Waste stations have closed, and the ones that are open still have gotten rid of their potable water so I might be able to dump my Wastewater but I have nowhere to then refill water.

I built this RV to be great for 24/7 living, I have over 4 kilowatts of solar on the roof, I have over 15 KW hours of battery storage so I don’t even need an electrical hookup. I have a full size heat pump hot water heater, two chest freezers one of which is to use as a fridge, and I have about 100 gallons freshwater capacity. On top of that I have enough filtration on my water system to make it so that I could probably just safely use stream water if I really wanted. I’ve got multiple levels of whole home size filtration right at the tank, and then for all my drinking and cooking water it goes through an additional 10 stage filter system that has reverse osmosis and alkaline remineralization. It’s in good condition, clean, and it’s hard to miss the solar lining the whole thing. It’s obviously not a dilapidated homeless RV but people treat me like I’m some kind of homeless crack addict just because I’m in an RV.

It’s very helpful. You can cook chicken with sous vide (hot water with temperature held very precise) and cook the chicken at 140 35min. Because it’s a bath of precisely controlled water the temperature will never go above 140 and you will have insanely juicy chicken that is still safe

I just recently took the dive into their appliances, I got the C1 blizzard canister vac with the power head. Their washer and heat pump dryer and I’m probably going to pick up a dishwasher from them as well. It’s definitely difficult spending over $1,000 on a vacuum and then walking through Costco and seeing piles of them for 300 to 400. But I am having faith in everything I’ve read from both users and technicians that this vacuum is basically going to outlive me and any children I may have.

It’s definitely very powerful, more than any other vacuum I’ve had. And yet it’s also one of the most quiet vacuums I’ve ever had so I definitely enjoy that

It’s a familiarity problem, those exact same people would turn around and after doing that insane install process and tell you that Windows Works without issues or a bunch of manual tweaking on like your stupid Linux. They don’t see it as a problem or tweaking just because they are so used to it whereas they would have to relearn that for Linux

Not specifically porn groups, I said not to be too banhammer happy. They were basically accused of being borderline pedophiles so everyone should block them. But I just can’t see any evidence of that, it’s literally the main sidebar rule that age verification is required and it’s in every post I looked at as the rules required. Browsing through the comments a bit, I don’t really see them fetishizing it as even close to children. They just happened to be into petite women, the smaller the better. On the opposite extreme is stuff like the BBW fetish people who want the woman to be as large as possible.

There are definitely people out there who are probably looking at them just because it’s as close as they can legally get to teen, but I’m not really seeing much of that in that particular community at least not out in the open. It’s definitely possible to be interested in extremely petite bodies without it having literally anything whatsoever to do with any potential similarities to underage women.

If I had to guess it’s probably mostly just people who like being in control, the idea of an adult partner who is so small that you can literally pick them up with ease and use them like a toy. I found a decent number of comments that seems to be on that sort of track.

From what I can see of the age verification almost all of these women have been involved in some form of pornography even just magazine or video so I doubt that they are particularly uncomfortable about being looked at it’s actually. There’s always going to be creeps who think about you and weird ways in that industry it’s not something you go into not knowing that.

Now I’m not trying to be too overly defensive of this particular community, just trying to remind people to not get overly banhammer happy. That’s how Echo Chambers start to form
