  • On a side note, are other trans people ok with the terms AMAB and AFAB. I was talking to a trans friend, and used those terms when talking about some old friends when we all lived in gendered dorms (not specifically for just trans), and after we were done talking she mentioned after (as an aside) that a lot of trans people dont like those terms because they are sometimes used by exclusionary type bigots. I am agender and dont really care about what pronouns are used for me (as long as no assumption is made about me based on a stereotypic gender role). I just want to be more conscious.

I hope for your sake that the tape you used isn’t too sticky otherwise it will tear off the paint in some places, or the very least might leave the walls sticky. It kinda looks like duct tape, I’d recommend paper masking/painter’s tape which is meant to be used on walls. It often comes in blue or beige but you can by it in other colors, it wont fall off easily, doesnt leave residue, wont risk damaging the paint, and is most likely cheaper.

  • Beans are far more versatile imo. Soy alone is sooo useful to me as a vegetarian.

Now if instead it was nightshades vs legumes, I would have a hard time picking because tomatoes are the best, and so are potatoes. And what would I even do without peppers and spicy food.

But legumes have so many amazing plants like soy/black/chili/garbanzo beans and peas. TVP is made usually from soy or pea protein and is a super useful source of protein. Legumes are also “nitrogen fixers”, meaning they produce bioavailabile nitrogen rich soil.

I think I would have to give the win to legumes because I can survive on a diet predominantly filled with legumes but not really just potatoes/tomatoes/peppers/eggplants. I need protein.
