My teacher is female.
My teacher is a female.
The former is adjectival, the latter is an icky noun. That “a” is doing a lot of work lol.

Same goes for race. The number of times a story starts with “this black guy…” and the story has nothing to do with race is way too high. Especially from white people who just say “this guy” if the person was white. It just shows your implicit (or explicit) bias and that you think of someone differently because of the colour of their skin and you’re attempting to encode that feeling within your language.
Women are not driven by mankind.
Take that, patriarchy!! 😂
They don’t make the memes. The memes made them.
I think it’s less of a reward, more of a fear. How can I turn my back on god and risk eternal damnation? That’s a powerful thing right there. But true, it is also a massive part of some people’s identity.
But the belief in religion like Christianity comes with an afterlife. If you truly believe that there is a heaven and hell, torture is not going to make you drop those beliefs. On the flip side, if being gay was a choice, all you’re choosing is strife and being gay.
I think it’s a perfectly fine argument.
Pull yourself up by your bootstraps!
I used it yesterday and feel kinda bad. Having said that, the guy I said it to was in an online lobby and I’d said one word on mic and he immediately asked if I was a baddie and told me to rate myself out of 10 for him.
I said some not okay things…
Maybe it’s more about clothes. I wouldn’t want to be clothed while in the shower. I think I’ll try getting naked next time I get caught in the rain 🤔
That’s exactly why that is the joke omg lol 🤦♀️
…that is in fact the joke
Oh X333 makes sense XDDD T~T UwU
I grew up in Canada and never really had it, now that I’ve lived in the US for so long, I crave it
Quiet, woman.
I like to think their veganism and, therefore, lack of exposure to cheese related puns has led them to this egregious error.
Downvote this comment? Yessir!
I don’t disagree with food insecurity being a major issue in the US, I just don’t get the vibe that that’s the topic of the OP.
I think this is less about being poor or struggling to survive, more about the struggle to find meaning in modern life.
I’m doing well in life. Could certainly be doing better (who couldn’t), but my bills are paid, and there’s food on my table. I don’t worry about these things, and I don’t struggle. But there have certainly been times when I’ve felt the sentiment of the OP. When your needs are met and you feel a sort of emptiness, trying to fill the boredom with the next best dopamine hit. I almost feel like I’m just floating through life, not yearning for, yet waiting for the day it all ends.
Found the awkward “I’m not transphobic” transphobe.
