Its fun to solve the problems.
Its not fun when the problems don’t get solved on your tenth rewrite.
You never had the absolute bliss of discovering your missing 10mm in your pocket once you got home?
Just degrease what you’re working on and wear long sleeve uniforms. I do both when I can, but I always wear long sleeves. Helps prevent some cuts and burns too. If you know you’re going to be on the floor, get a creeper, they’re relatively inexpensive and have the upside of making it significantly easier to skate around on the floor. Plus you pretty much don’t get dirty.
I don’t mind getting dirty, but if I can, its easier to take the like 5 minutes or less of prep to prevent getting myself dirty in the first place. This way I don’t get customer interiors dirty, leave grease prints everywhere, and make it easier to clean my shop uniforms when they’re dirty.
That’s what adjustable tie rod wrenches are for:
They make em in all different size ranges.
I am an avid fan of Fast Orange, but Gojo is good too. Wear long sleeves and pants (yes, even in summer here in California in triple digit weather) made of 100% cotton and you only really gotta worry about cleaning your hands if you don’t wear gloves.
As a mechanic, if you are coming home that dirty, you are doing it wrong. Plus if you are a mechanic using an adjustable crescent wrench, I have some bad news for you. That tool is for plumbers, not mechanics.
You have no idea how little that narrows it down
Maybe if Megumin was like 24 and not 14. Or if I was 14.
Ill take Wiz tho
I will often start a show I want to see the action on in dub, but the first picosecond of voice I hear that I don’t like I immediately switch to sub. But most romcom stuff or anything that isn’t a mecha or flashy action anime I just start directly in sub.
I go weeks at a time without anime, find a show I really like, get 7 eps deep and then find another show I like, then end up watching Gunhed.
I never go back to the unfinished anime, forget what it was or that I ever watched it, then find it again months later and wonder why the first 7 eps are already watched.
The overwhelming majority of posts/comments on Reddit and even right here on Lemmy.
Also, seeing an announcement for yet another streaming platform that serves ads on a paid subscription with content that I actually like.
That is one smug Lain
Anime art definitely needs to go back to this in like, 85% of all anime.
But they won’t, because these days they prefer the cheap cookie-cutter computer stuff.
This art style reminds me of Claymore.
Its really unfortunate that the ml admins are the way they are. Too bad there cant be a mass mod message sent as a DM to subscribers telling them where to move to. That make sit tedious and can make those left behind feel lost. But I guess if enough move over and the anime community that is more social than this one gets bigger maybe itll be easier to find? Who knows.
I was only here because it was the first search result a while back.
ml admins hate anime and don’t want it on their instance. Simple as that.
There is a lot of anti-anime hatred lately, especially on social media like Lemmy, Reddit, and Twitter. With more popularity comes more haters, par for the course really.
It may be better to move to an anime focused instance, but thats what most instance owners want. They dont want CSAM but they also dont want anime in general, so they can just claim they’re the same thing and get rid of both.
Whether it is accurate or not is not important. The context of the religious imagery and content in Evangelion is purely for aesthetics.
This is kind of an odd question. Everyone will be biased to what they like themselves, but if I have learned anything lately its that the good stuff you think would make tons of money gets locked away forever, and the same mainstream normie stuff is what gets pushed hard and the normies keep buying it up.
No Appleseed, no Bubblegum Crisis, no Perfect Blue, no Silent Mobius, no Record of Lodoss War, none of the good stuff like those.
At this point, those IPs have next to zero brand recognition, and the companies that own them see them as too high risk to be worth doing anything new with them other than whatever is legally minimally required to keep the IP and trademarks from becoming public domain. Either that, or they make a live action remake that turns out to be worse than ExARM’s animation quality.
If I am going to be looking at my character for a large amount of time, or hearing them make sus noises in my ear when they get hurt, there better be a girl option.
