Is Sensible
Maybe an unpopular opinion of mine, but I don’t mind downvotes, but there doesn’t need to be a calculation of the sum of the upvotes and downvotes imv. That way both are observable for the users. If something is unpopular, you can see it but it doesn’t affect its overall standing in post hierarchy, pretty sure this is how reddit used to be about a decade ago.

Hahaha this one made me laugh pretty hard! Cross post it to !memes!memes@lemmy.ml!
Update: found it! Showed up a few hours later
Hmm gave it 5 mins and kept trying, didn’t change anything Lemmy.ml is having 404 issues right now though so may be related to that
Does anyone know why I can see a ChatGPT sub-lemmy on lemmy.ml but can’t on feddit.uk?
I made a new account on feddit.uk to help spread load from lemmy.ml but I can’t see this and some other specific communities that I was subscribed to on the other instance.
Iv tried search all communities etc not just local
https://lemmy.ml/c/chatgpt specifically
Kinda get the reasoning behind it, however some commonality here would be good over time as Lemmy is developed
