This is off topic, but threatening the livelihood of hundreds of people to jerk off some investor douches who don’t give a shit about the actual medium is peak sociopathic capitalism.

The counter argument is that the systemic injustices that exist are perpetuated primarily through it being convenient to maintain the status quo.

A capitalists system like this needs a underclass to siphon wealth from.

Thus by fighting the class war you inherently will be tearing down the pillars upholding these injustices. If you get enough Republican voters to have class consciousness the culture war will fall apart on its own because it primarily exists to keep those groups distracted.

A lot of them already have a sizable refugee population actually. They can’t fit a whole other country’s worth of people along with their own.

Beyond that, I bet you’d turn out similarly if you grew up in an open air prison where a terrorist group took power before you were even born. And if you did turn out to be not an angel, I’d still advocate for your humane treatment.

The term “ungood” also lets you talk about bad things but that doesn’t make it not newspeak. The corporate sanitizing and infantilizing of speech is not a good thing. It’s not the teen’s problem though, it’s the corporations and their desire for a sanitized public square they can plaster ads over.

The kids are creating corporate influenced newspeak that infantilizes serious topics instead of moving to a platform without censorship. Teen slang is great when it comes up naturally instead of because advertisers want to sanitize our thoughts so we only think about consuming products.

Maintenance is a job. Most people whose job it is to maintain land don’t own that land themselves however.

A farmers job is farming. Most farmers in history didn’t even own the land they worked on tbh.

If you count anime as any animation from Japan then no. From my research it looks like the first animated Japanese film was a propaganda film released in 1945.

If you consider the aesthetic commonly known as “anime” today then yes because the first Superman cartoon came out in 1966 while “modern anime” had it’s begins in the 70s.

Since anime was inspired by Disney and other western animation wouldn’t they be called “sushi cartoons” in this naming scheme? The superhero genre is older than the whole anime industry after all.

Sticking your head in the sand will do that. Nothing will actually change but it’ll feel like it’s not there.
