Going from 144 to 280 was great, so if 1k Hz could become the next best thing maybe 480/540 will become affordable.

540 Hz already.
Here its legit cheaper than making it yourself unless you’re buying in bulk.
The new one we got recently has a small display for custom presets and easier night scheduling which seems handy enough.
At least the switch still worked fine with usbc to Bluetooth adapters before the update, I actually still use mine since it has significantly less latency than the switch itself.
Having a brother laser printer as well it’s honestly not even about how good brother printers are, just about how shitty the competition is.
