Spot on. For years I had my self worth valued based on the women I was with/dating.

After a divorce and string of bad relationships/breakups, I realized the issue was, largely, because of me. I wasn’t focused and invested in myself enough to be comfortable without a partner in my life. Which made me desperate, and that comes across and attracted the wrong sort of women to me, as well as kept my self worth artificially low so I allowed myself to be abused by others in the relationships.

Spend time on yourself and being comfortable being alone. Be happy alone first. Then look for opportunities to meet people who can enhance your happiness, but not be the source of your happiness, if that makes any sense. That’s how good relationships work I finally learned.

  • The pin holds a thing called the “spoon” in place. It’s secured with a hole in either side of it as it attaches to the “neck” of the grenade where the pin going through it secures the spoon to the neck of the grenade.

When the pin is removed, the spoon is free to come away from the grenade. Usually this takes more than gravity, but not “too” much more. Sometimes the force of removing the pin is enough to rattle the spoon loose/off from the grenade neck, triggering the fuse, in the case of most frag grenades like the one pictured above, the fuse length is pre-cut to be around 4 seconds, until it reaches the payload of TNT at the core of the fragmentation casing, exploding.

  • I presume, like everything else wrong with Capitalism, it comes down to cost. It’s more cost efficient somehow. I don’t understand the details, because I’m not a chicken farmer, but I have been in the capitalism machine for a long, long time, and I’d bet a shitton of tax payer money that it’s purely down to cost.

If it saves $0.02 per chicken, they’ll gladly poison the rivers, oceans, lakes, etc. with refuse and baby chick corpses.
