In the US, if the actors were related, then that would be illegal. The characters being related is totally immaterial, though. If it was relevant, then certain scenes in Game of Thrones would have been illegal. The law says nothing about fictional siblings getting it on, just real ones.

It is! (in the early 2d games) To save on cartridge space, Link only had sprites made facing one direction. When facing the other direction, the sprite was simply flipped. The manual had a lore blurb about a superstition regarding keeping your shield facing Death Mountain to handwave it.

Starting with Ocarina of Time, Link was given a (mostly) consistent handedness, typically being left-handed but sometimes doing a few things, like archery, right-handed.

The Wii version of Twilight Princess flipped the entire game, including the character models, left to right, making Link a righty to make the motion controls more intuitive for most players. Skyward Sword was then built with a right-handed Link for the same reason.

With Breath of the Wild, Link was made right-handed despite the game not using motion controls for swordplay. The top-down games have kept Link as a lefty, though.

I hate that episode. Trip got date raped in a scene where the aggressor uses pedophile tactics, like tricking someone who doesn’t know better into sex by calling it a game, then the rest of the episode is spent on victim blaming and mockery.

I think people just don’t know much about the PNW. Seattle produced some rock bands and companies in the '90s and Portland got a TV show that ended years ago, but that’s about it. We just don’t make much noise right now.

I suspect with this, for example, the brain is structured to run body template A, but is piloting body template B and is basically throwing an error. I see no reason not to change the body to match the brain, especially since modifying the brain quickly heads into major ethical concerns and philosophical weirdness. I mean, ultimately the brain is you and the body is just a meat mech.
