Worth mentioning it makes sense the best if you’re in Europe. Not so much if you’re far away from Germany/Finland and want to have lowest latency possible
Came here to say the same. Hetzner gives good services for the price. My experience with the VPS is that I set it once and it just works with 1.5 year of uptime now. What I really love is that if you need bigger storage but not necessarily fast, you can get storage box for like €4 per 1TB and connect it to your machine with CIFS/SFTP/WebDAV. It works perfectly for my Nextcloud files, while everything else is on fast SSD.
Because of the usual assumption that most people can understand it, which isn’t usually the case.
Or else? Do it really have to become mainstream? Yeah, the experience should be easier and better explained, bugs need to get fixed, UX more intuitive etc. What you’re suggesting though defeats the main concept of it being unable to control by just a single entity.
Steam Deck rules. I’ve got decent PC, but I stopped using it for games almost entirely since I got my SD! But I think it depends overall. It bought me on 2 factors: convenience and input. I get it to lay on bed or couch, press a button and use all the time for gaming. Plus countless ways to play games that aren’t really for mouse and keyboard or I don’t like how it controls by default.
