I wish they did but the governments are intent on taking that choice away
Access to opportunities and birth control drop birthrates.
Lots and lots of poor countries have large populations because poor parents are hoping many children can work. Also lack of access to birth control and far right groups insisting children are a religious necessity.

No you are on the correct track. Tankies arent at all the most left. They are authoritarian which is more right than they want to admit. Just being anti capitalism isn’t an instant moral win.
They’ll argue that it’s the best way while ignoring that basically every instance of communism in modern history is basically a dictatorship that used communist ideals as a medium to gain power.
Like fuck capitalism but power centralization and militarized authoritarianism is not the “fix”

Its just an excuse to in group/out group. Controlling people with religion wields a tremendous amount if power. Weaponizing climate change denial is another example
