boredtortoise@lemm.eeto Map Enthusiasts@sopuli.xyz•Highway fonts in different countries17·6 months agoIt’s really pissing me off that this map doesn’t include the typeface names
Anyway, here are the specs of the Finnish one in a pdf. It doesn’t seem to be named other than “typeface for road signs” or available as a font file
Either way it’s going to stick to fingers
Good knowledge. Real it is
But is there an American police issue weapon with 8 shots 🤔
It’s an intervention
Actually forced regurgitating of excrement sounds pretty aligned with project management
A (pointy) hat. There are different models
A hat / hair cover. I guess felt is the preferred material, I’ve rarely seen these
It’s somewhat more nuanced than the image implies. Sauna is generally a place one uses nude, but even in Finland if you go to a public spa with unisex saunas, swimwear is to be used. If the saunas are separated and located in the gendered showering areas, like swimming centers, then swimwear is prohibited.

boredtortoise@lemm.eeto 196@lemmy.blahaj.zone•I have to post something to follow the RULE2·2 years agoIt’s a pet peeve of mine to see them done dirty but lately I’ve thought that maybe they’ve been written by someone dyslexic or with something else as their first language and have become more lenient.
But still…
boredtortoise@lemm.eeto 196@lemmy.blahaj.zone•I have to post something to follow the RULE5·2 years agoSorry, are you asking how our average person handles the language?
Native Finnish speakers seem to suck at compound words and punctuation on average, old and young.
People learning Finnish differ as they seem to (someone learning please speak up) struggle with double consonants, declension (had to google that word) and how spoken language is different from written official rules. I think all of these are mostly automatic to someone with Finnish as a mother tongue.

Funny (not funny) thing is that it’s hard to pinpoint which country is collecting the stamps here
