Notorious butt-pokers. Right on the cheek. Leave a bruise and everything. Mildly uncomfortable to sit on firm for 2 or 3 days.

Worse. It pokes your butt with it.

Have on many occasions slept 12-15 hours after extended stints awake, but my record is unknown to me.

I once slept for basically a week, because I had what we now know was pancreatitis. I’d sleep, wake up to moan in agony/scream, and the fall back to sleep. I remember very little of it, other than that I could not eat. The moment food passed my throat I was in total agony, the best I could do was broth, but i was literally only awake for minutes at a time. I was running a fever, horrible pain in my abdomen, and couldn’t even drink water the first few days. Early days of COVID lock downs, and the local hospital was so overrun that it would have been pointless to go. There were no beds, no available doctors or nurses, nothing. Tried going to an urgent care, but when my parents called them they basically said don’t bother, they won’t be able to see me. Lady at the ER told us basically the same thing, but she literally said “I can’t tell you not to come here, but I will say I wouldn’t let anyone I loved near this place”

It was terrifying

Edit: just asked my mom something to clarify, it was 12 days, not a week. Like I said, I remember very little. I also lost 45 pounds.

What blows my mind about that image is that the size of the nipple does not look undersized on the man nor oversized on the tattoo lady. Nipple size variation is really quite wild

This is almost completely unrelated, but your comment made me think of it for some reason, so story time:

Years ago, I worked at a gas station on the night shift. We had these huge wall mounted containers of cleaning supplies, like soap dispensers in a rest room, but like 30 gallons/100 liters, and full of various cleaning supplies that a company came by every so often and swapped the empties for full ones. There were like 5 of em, for use in cleaning different stuff.

One day, they came and swapped em out, and no one noticed that they’d all been replaced with rubbing alcohol until it was already after end of day for the delivery company. It took weeks before we could get them to come back out, and for several weeks I had to mop the floors and clean the whole store with diluted alcohol. It was sparkling clean, but good GOD the head rush. I had to leave the doors open and blast the AC whenever we were cleaning.

Is this something a normie could do? I run fedora on my laptop, but I never really get past anything more than basic GUI stuff. I mainly use it for writing papers for school and some web browsing. My phone, however, I use pretty heavily. It’s where I do 95+% of my web browsing, Lemmy, YouTube, streaming video, and some of my school stuff. Banking apps I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to use on that, but I could always use my bank through the browser, I’d imagine.

I, for one, will not rest until we have a woman committing genocides and atrocities. It’s only right.

I’m not super techy; basic windows user type. I distro hopped for a while, and landed on fedora. Love it. Vanilla Gnome is awesome for me, and provides enough of a difference from Windows to feel fresh and fun, while being intuitive enough to figure out easily. The terminal is optional, but fun to use, and there are guides a plenty, though if you need to rely on guides for everything, Ubuntu based distros are going to have way more.
