What is a “living computer” and why is(was) there a museum about them?
This isn’t news, it’s just new that people are calling them out on it
x86 has hit the end of its development lifecycle, but that’s a slow and expensive ship to turn
it’s likely possible, but it’s hard to imagine that it would be worth the trouble-- not to mention that it would also be pretty dangerous. replacing them would be far simpler.
Ah. This makes sense.
