Wifi 6 took forever to get rolled out, especially 6e. Hopefully 7’s rollout is much better.
I skipped 6 and got a really expensive wifi 7 router and at 6e speeds it’s pretty insane. I get just over a gigabit connection goin outside of my network. Windows reports a connection speed of over 2gbit on wifi.
The article didn’t even make it a day before Apple announced the M3 CPUs which will probably dunk on this in both performance and efficiency.
The M2 CPU was kind of a disappointment since it was mostly just an overclocked M1 with a few more GPU cores, but the same bad architecture. The M3 should actually be a newer architecture and fix the M2s PPW regression.
You never know what you’re going to like.
Plus someone has to do it, and they want to find someone just as much as you do.

If you count paying off a credit card, or paying a phone bill every month “arbitrarily debt” then you’re pretty stupid.
Most thermal pads aren’t really suitable for something high power like a CPU or GPU. But the phase change thermal pads are incredible.
I installed some of the Honeywell PTM 7950 on my laptop and it’s like magic. It’s 99.9% a good as Liquid Metal, but you don’t have the dry out problems. In theory it should never dry out actually unlike the thermal paste I had in my laptop which was toast in less than 6 months.
