We’re going to need to take separate cars though because I have training in the morning but I don’t want to tear you away from your family just because of me. Let’s plan the activities early enough so I can join but you guys can still go have fun and go out after I go to bed.

Then leave it open for discussion. Maybe she only wants to take one car and her parents will bring her back, maybe one of the several nights there’s something later she really wants you to be apart of so maybe you can be tired for just one day. But don’t leave it as an “I’m gonna do this thing” leave it as a discussion.

I used 3rd party apps so I didn’t see ads to begin with haha. To me it feels slower as both the apps for Lemmy work out their bugs and Lemmy itself works out it’s bugs. I keep seeing the same 15 posts repeatedly all the time. That makes it feel slower than it actually is.

Circle track asphalt racing. People either get it or, they don’t. And I can’t even begin to explain to someone who doesn’t how exciting and fun it is for me. All they hear is “cars doing around in circles.”

I guess one of the parts they’re missing is spending all week in that garage with your family trying to fix everything from last weekend, and get it running better than before, before this weekend comes. Then seeing all your hard work pay off, at high speeds.

It’s 9:30pm in the middle of nowhere.

I’d put everything in my save for later in my Amazon cart and buy it. I’d buy a bunch of crafting supplies online, I’d buy the sports things for my husband online. Probably buy a new monitor or 3, new desk chair, and all the parts I can order online for the racecar. Probably spend my remaining time scrolling Etsy and Amazon for every impulse purchase I can think of, then I’d be out of time lol
