This is how I thought everyone felt about Cyberpunk 2077, but even on launch it was a pretty sweet Bethesda-game by CDPR.
If you read the stories of cultures & religions that came before Christianity, you’ll realize the Christian stories are straight up boring.

This was addressed in the movie. Prominently. It was the whole 2nd half or final 3rd of the movie.
Also, they gave him the option to back out & just go back home to his Matrix-life. Also a pretty notable part of the movie. It’s even a meme!
There’s also some choices in the relationships V can take, but they don’t change everything much. That said, I think I makes sense that what V does wouldn’t really have much of an effect on Night City.
