A new spice and wolf season is coming out? 😮 I didn’t even know there were plans to continue this series
Hey 👋 I’m Lemann
I like tech, bicycles, and nature.
A new spice and wolf season is coming out? 😮 I didn’t even know there were plans to continue this series
Because I can see making bank off gathering bad experiences
The majority of his YT videos tend to have monetisation disabled
I don’t think they will, any time yet anyway.
Looking at how my FP3 and the newer FP4 is assembled, I don’t think they can make a foldable and easily repairable device right now (didn’t stop them releasing those unrepairable Earbuds, but oh well)
There’s also the software aspect too

No thanks, reported 👎
F
They will be missed, that’s so young
Are there any countries at the moment that are close to what you’d describe as Socialist? I find myself interested in certain aspects of it, but wanted to know if there’s anywhere that practices some of it so I can see/research for myself to try and figure out where I sit politically.
Another question regarding this - are there any links/similarities between socialist ideologies, and services offered by welfare (such as free transport, education, healthcare, unemployment benefits, housing)?
Apologies if I’m mixing things up or anything, thought it would be quicker to just ask directly. Since I’m from a western country I’d assume the lens through which we view and understand socialism may differ
IIRC this functionality was ripped out a long time ago, instances define their own slur lists now
I think he means another sorting option for posts, using an algorithm to tailor their order for the user
Somehow, it never came to mind to use relative links for communities…
A reasonable solution for those could be to auto-detect community links in their various forms (/c/community, !community@instance.example, https://instance.example/c/community) and auto convert those into a local link for the user’s current instance.
I’d contribute to the codebase if I had time, since community links has been the biggest issue for me so far, having to copy, paste, search etc. for each new community on other instances that I’m interested in, depending on how they’ve been shared
Yep I agree - It’s definitely possible for the US to shift away from it, some cities have even been transforming some of their busy central roads into pedestrianised boulevards (such as times square in NY, and a couple others I can’t remember off the top of my head) and from an outsiders perspective been successful.
The difficulty is mainly going to be places like Culver City where some just don’t get that cars don’t scale well in dense urban areas like cities - they’ve voted to remove a 2 year old bike lane just to get back an additional driving lane. That’s just going to move most of the bike riders back into their cars, filling that brand new driving lane (and the other existing driving lanes) with traffic that previously didn’t exist. Hopefully over time positive changes will return though!
Not the person you replied to, but I doubt it personally. Usually “comics” refers specifically to the western Marvel/DC stuff, not Japanese manga where things are very different (from an outsider’s perspective like myself anyway)
Those cars that don’t have the flecks in the paint look like children’s toys
Actually, why do so many modern cars straight up look like oversized toys?
Electric cars are the worst for this IMO. Aside from the Tesla model 3, Nissan leaf and a handful of other ones… everything else looks like an oversized replica remote control toy to me. Some are nice, like the VW minivan, but most look like cheap wannabes. I can’t quite put my finger on it
Most of the US has dug a hole that can’t easily be fixed with its car-centric developments, people living there pretty much need a car for everything.
Driving there may be a pleasure, but I personally wouldn’t want to live in that situation at all. I’m glad and lucky to have the equivalent of a mall just a 10 minute bike ride away, 25 minute walk, 5 minute bus trip.
Fascinating, do you guys have any anime related content like this on YouTube in Japan? Right now I can go search and find full eps of stuff, some of them one video and others split across many vids, others summarizing a season etc. Or do these show up as blocked there?
