1 year agoKind of bummed just cause that spot had a decent rooftop bar that was cheap and had a killer view. Seems like it was kind of a hidden gem, cause you wouldn’t think to go to Hard Rock Cafe. Also one of the few bars downtown doing regular live music with no cover. Not saying it was a great spot, but I had some good times there. Hope something else cool can take over the space.
So it’s WeWork, but ‘Climate’?
Dont get me wrong, we need more ways to elevate and connect people who want careers in green tech. But how about a climate job fair? How about free resources and training? This sounds like a $300 a month networking club for entrepreneurs with a waitlist and a private clubhouse, spearheaded by an ex-facebook tech bro and an arrangement with UWs start-up incubator, the nature of which they “can’t elaborate” on. Color me highly skeptical.
