claims Arm-beating battery life, world’s fastest mobile CPU cores
is this before or after the enevitable, obligatory, hair-on-fire microcode security update?
…just this guy, you know.

no kidding. this particular FWP was… unpleasant.
this would actually be pretty interesting. any details?
anything qanon related will make your brain implode faster than a carbon fiber pressure hull at 12k feet.
edit: this is not a good thing
this is a pretty decent approach. glad you are here :-)
I feel you on this and I am torn. the abuse by reddit centers around treating user content and the users themselves as an owned asset. burning your own content with fire is a valid protest with sort term pain and potential long term gain for everyone.
my question is, what happens when reddit starts to restore user content with no link back to the original content creator account? I have not looked at the current reddit ToS. Does reddit legally think they own your content?
search engine indexes eventually age out on dead content and, hopefully, 12+ months on “lemmy:” will be a thing.
I’ve got tanks of it. just let me know if you need a refill.
the vast majority of people here right now really, really want this to work - great incentive to chat, debate and content create (even if its currently small scale). I think we collectively got this.
pretty much. the very nature of the open source, decentralized fedi tends to attract a certain mindset; a mindset that is decidedly anti-fascist. with vigilant pushback when needed i think we will be good.
exactly this! find something (even if its only tangentially related) and join. post something. this is a great opportunity to stop lurking and make an outsized contribution to your fellow humans by posting content. you are here. your influence and actions right now matter.
its going to take time, but I have a feeling things will accelerate quickly. I am here permanaently, now just need to create and find reasons for others to join me/us.
truly the hero we need!
you know, I (supposedly - you cant prove anything, mr. prosecutor) may have done this as a kid. then I hopped hardcore on to the FLOSS bandwagon and never looked back. everything I need I can find as a FLOSS package (firmware often excluded, of course). all the learning that I (supposedly) did through the “hack” as a kid now goes into writing original code and supporting open source software. FLOSS literally (may have) made an honest man out of me :-)
the w3 article is certainly worth the read. thanks.
Noooo… its gotta be a FULL smiley, lest I think you secretly want to eat me! :-)
the thought of unconfined napalm suspended above could make for at least a few restless night?
