Every time this is posted I have the knee-jerk reaction that it’s Photoshopped just because it’s so ridiculous. It’s basically an art project.

Apparently it is a thing, but I don’t know how long the messages can be or what they “usually” look like, nor do I trust these screenshots.
The username in the second one changes from SKW4238 to SKY4238, so (at least) that one is fake.
Doesn’t that mean that the church won’t marry you if the government hasn’t made it official?
That just follows the argument that the religious aspect is simply a voluntary add-on to the actual institution of marriage (a government-approved contract between individuals), which is the opposite of what the original commenter was arguing for.
Matrimony and marriage are separate already. If you want to get church-married, go for it. If you don’t, don’t. Doesn’t sound hard or like it needs to be changed.
Cool, that’s about the age I came out as a trans guy to my parents. They didn’t handle it well but they came around after 5 years or so of separation. Didn’t most of those programmers from the 60s and 70s have like, Master’s degrees in mathematics? Computers were massive, expensive machines that were used largely by universities and research facilities - you definitely couldn’t buy your own and teach yourself how to program it like you can now.
I would like to respectfully remind you of bell hooks and her work towards bridging the gaps between men and women.
The big one is The Will to Change, an excellent feminist text about being kind and understanding to men who act in bigoted ways; she does acknowledge that there are, of course, many men who are unwilling to listen.
That’s what I would do, so…
