So if I take a famous video game as an example (for the sake of the argument, pong). maybe lemmy.world/pong is a global english-speaking community and mylocal.place/pong is the community of players near me (in a localized language). What might be strange is a transition period when you look for the biggest worldwide community, but don’t know on which instance to subscribe… Very new user here… I am right ?
