That’s pretty much how I’ve always used it. Still call all mailmen “mailmen” regardless of gender. I’m not sure how important any of this is to the average person (no one seems to care in my day to day life).

Even if true, there has to be a better way to achieve safety and economic security for all. War causes losses for far too many.
