How often do you ride the subway? Thousands of people take the subway in NYC everyday of all income levels, it’s a pretty big success.

That’s a problem with the infrastructure and transit policy, not the technology. I can’t afford a car, where I’m at I’m able to take a train to cities nearby, I can take a free shuttle to the train station or bike because it’s not very far. In the past in the US at least there were more train and tram routes, when cars because more prevalent cities stopped developing the infrastructure, but if done properly it can be superior to driving.
I know right, a plane ride will take me exactly to her house! What kind of logic is this? Can you recommend a method to travel across the US to visit my grandma that wouldn’t require me paying or being restricted in where I could go? That is how modern travel works in every form.
Also anyway when I take the train I could take a bike with me and bike the rest of the way, or in my city there is a free shuttle from the train station to the center of downtown, with buses every direction from there, any many bigger cities have light-rails or subways that connect from train stations. And it’s healthy to walk, people have walked for thousands of years.
If it ain’t an MRE and you are busy cooking you aren’t gonna be ready when the commies kick down your bomb shelter door and take your guns! And also cooking is for women.
“What do you mean black slaves don’t have it as good as the whites? It says right in our founding documents all men are created equal!”
Roma people can justifiably show up in tel aviv tomorrow and start conquering the place since they have no nation of their own
Please Roma, I would donate money for this to happen, unfortunately that would just end with genocide too though.
I have Samson headphones that I notice the build/material quality is a bit nicer than Anker, I had the Life Q20 and they fell apart, but that was after something like two years of rough use, although the actual speaker and electronics work fine and holds a charge. But yeah for the price I haven’t seen any other brand perform as well.
I like the physical plug for display port more too. Is it just because there isn’t some LLC pushing adoption of display port like there is for HDMI?
I don’t know enough about this really to speak on it, but I think if there was a problem with encryption, a person could spoof a connection to your device and get your passwords or other data maybe. There was a big data leak a few years ago from someone getting into a network through a smart fridge or similar device because of weak security standards.
Thank you, I was almost feeling a tinge of sympathy for Sony then I remembered, these businesses have centuries of practice in deceit and any actual benefit that comes to users is incidental to their only actual goal of maximizing profit.
If anyone reading this is considering cheaper Sony bluetooth headphones versus the comparable Anker product, go with Anker! The speaker and a few models of headphones I’ve used were much better and cheaper than the comparable Sony product.
What do you mean by cutting off connections? To escape this hellhole we need connections more than ever, some people can manage to survive on their own off the land but humanity works better together. Our economies and societal structures are enforced by parasites but there are many people that want to build positive things.
If your workplace has good safety standards it’s not as much of a problem these days, I’d rather wear a respirator at my job working with fumes and dust than sit at a desk all day and fuck my back and eyes up. Though I’m fucking my back up too probably, but if you don’t overwork yourself and use proper techniques even manual labor doesn’t have to be so bad for your body.
I mentioned in another comment, I’m talking about visiting my grandma who lives on the opposite coast, like once a year or less, it’s not cheap to drive that far. And for a trip that would be better to drive than fly I’d rather take a train, it’s more pleasant and comfortable, they usually have bars and food served, I don’t have to worry about parking or traffic and I could rent a car there if I need one.
