I was banned from Reddit for saying I enjoyed the parts of red dead redemption 2 where you had to kill slave owners and kkk members. Literally said I enjoyed a mainstream video game and the main quest. Inciting violence against polygons in an imaginary world that took place 150 years ago.
Imagine saying you enjoyed playing Wolfenstein.

Ya. But I’m kind of relieved. Place has been pretty toxic and the content has been getting more and more lame. I’m excited to be somewhere new and start fresh. Maybe reverse some of the bad habits that are contagious with how I engage too.

I like gestures. Being able to set them. Long left, short left etc.
I like being able to go back by from the center swipe right(so I don’t have to swipe back from the edge). And then short left is upvote. Long left is downvote. Makes browsing and engaging so efficient. This site needs high votes per user right now. So it would help the site too.
Being able to filter communities is also very helpful.
For an iPad I think an easy(?) first huge improvement is being able to use split screen etc.
I’ll go back for specific things like I’d go to any website looking for a solution for an issue after googling.
I’m not browsing Reddit anymore. Place is cancer. Even before all this API stuff I was over the nfts, the unimaginative meta humor, the predictable and repetitive nature of every top comment, the puns, the thirsty comments every time someone looks somewhat attractive, the hostility, etc. Reddit feels like I’m reading chatgpt now.
I’ll miss the smaller subreddits. Hopefully they’ll come soon. That’s where interesting conversations occurred.
I don’t know when I’ll delete my account. I have a lot of “saved” items I don’t want to lose yet. If I don’t find myself using those saves after a bit I’ll delete everything.
