I stopped reading your comment when you suggested calling 1000w as a toaster. Most murican thing. Why don’t you also measure the size of the CPU in buses?

I think we need to transition from mass produced fixed specs products, which creates incentives for new companies dedicated to niche markets.
And go into producing tailored services and products custom made for the people who wants them. So there’s less differentiation between company a or b, so there’s less reasons for startup c to be created. So there’s less need for advertising. Also, call out that most consumption is induced by advertising for you to want something, when most people’s lives would improve by wanting less and making the most of what they have + healthier people relationships, which is against capitalism.
That’s because in English, the word public means you can walk into without being a Lord. Which means a public space can be a private property.
In Latin derived languages, public means owned by government. So a public park, public library, public company or public university, are 100% owned by the government.
So when I studied in my public university, yes I would spend on books and food, but it has a built in rule that it is forbidden to charge students or staff for anything.
It’s still technically very hard, very expensive, and a very cool experience for oneself. So yeah good for them, but I agree this won’t get them any Nobel
I’ve heard your island has oil near it. Is 1000km too close to do a coup?
If that’s any consolation, if it tried to spy it would probably fail.

The point of art is not necessarily to convince. What if her point is to call for action, to nurture debate or to get attention to something that doesn’t get space in people’s minds. It’s a piece of art, not a PhD thesis.
As long as you talk respectfully about the art, my guess is that the artist her the point across.
I would invite people who have different opinions to make their own art reflecting their point of views. I may make my own variation of the theme.
